Every couple years, as the Baby Boomers get around to cleaning out their parent's attics and closets, I get a flood of letters wanting to know the value of something they found tucked away behind the rusty golf clubs and christmas ornaments. The oddest thing about it is they always seem to ask about the same company. Whats up with that?

A couple years ago it was Jasper Cabinet. Of course, Jasper had just gone out of business so I couldn't help. Now it's Kent-Coffey. They are also out of business
